「 古 籠 展 」のお知らせ
書院の茶全盛期であった室町時代には中国から籠が多く将来され、その後日本でも唐物籠に倣った唐物写しが作られました。
その後江戸中期の黄檗宗の僧、売茶翁をルーツに煎茶は拡がりをみせ、
煎茶文化は江戸から明治にかけて大阪を中心に大流行し、戦後にかけて多くの唐物写しの花籠が作られるように
この度の企画展は花籠の原点と言える唐物写しを中心に、山野草との相性の良さそうな古籠を展示販売致します。
会期中はなげいれの圷奈保美氏に挿花をお願いし、深山の風を届けて頂きます。併せてお楽しみ頂ければ幸いです。

In the Muromachi period (1336-1573), the heyday of Shoin tea ceremonies, many flower baskets were imported from China(Karamono), and later copies of Chinese baskets (Karamono-utsushi) were made in Japan.
Sencha tea is said that it was spread by a monk of Obaku school of zen Buddhism, Baisaoh (売茶翁) in the mid-Edo period (1603-1868)
Sencha tea culture became very popular mainly in Osaka from the late Edo period to the Meiji period (1868-1912), many karamono-utsushi (copies of old Chinese baskets) baskets were made from that period until postwar period.
In this exhibition, we will display and sell Karamono-utsushi that could be said basics ikebana baskets mainly and old baskets that go well with wild flowers.
Nageire style flower artist, Nahomi Akutsu will put flowers into the baskets. We hope you would enjoy them as well as baskets.
